We met up with Jonathan and Sarah for a lovely Italian restaurant evening on Friday. Sarah took the photo so she's not in it!
Poldino's is a favourite place for celebration meals and special treats and we've gone there fairly often since we got married. A few years ago when David was at university in Glasgow, one of the girls in his year group was the daughter of the family who own the restaurant. I love that it isn't another chain!!!
Three good things
1. Susannah had a good day at work after here holiday.
2. Things seemed calm at school today
3. Lovely programme about Scottish jewellers and jewellery on before bedtime. Just what I needed.

Thank you for the lovely comments. I must admit we skipped the HB song!! Susannah has embarrassed him for the last few birthdays by bringing cake and having the whole restaurant sing it.....so she was warned!!!! But she did bring a tray of Krispy Kreme Doughnuts for him and the staff guessed as we were leaving. 😄😄
