This is the cover of a very special book from my university days. I managed to get a copy the year I was 40 after a rather lovely 'episode' ......long story.....
The book was an inspiration and I remembered the author Sybil Marshall. Then 20 years later in a bookshop on holiday I found some novels by someone of the same name. It was indeed the same person and she had started writing novels aged 80!! I wrote her recalling how much her book meant back in my student days and received a handwritten reply telling me lots about her life and family. I had some health issues and was feeling old....but she inspired me again and now her books are even more special. She died, not long after my 50th birthday, aged 91.
And all this came up when a friend tagged me to post the cover of a special book each day for a week on Facebook!
Three good things
1. Friends.....can't they come up with interesting suggestions.
2. Big rethink at school.....I think I it may be for the best.
3. Major cleaning of the kitchen. Satisfaction guaranteed. 😄
