So we had an unforgettable morning. Eight of us and our pilot up over the islands and the ocean.....it was just awesome. Our pilot really knew the area so well and she was very entertaining when she was free to chat. And as we hadn't anticipated being able to fit this trip in it was all the more delightful.
Lunch at Airlie Beach (at The Coffee Club which we rather liked earlier in the week) and then picked up by the coach taking us to Proserpine Airport for our flight to Brisbane.
Three good things

3. Great flight to Brisbane, more helpful staff at our lovely accommodation, and delightful food in the city centre mall.
