What a delightful day! Fresh and delicious breakfast before taking the train to Inverness. Haircut by Charlotte, time at the museum, a little bit of shopping and amazing Birthday Lunch at 'The Mustard Seed'.....if you ever want a superb lunch this is the place to come. The light on the river was dancing too.
We went to the viewpoint at Inverness Castle and climbing the 90+ STEPS was so worth it.
Brilliant sunshine, snow on hills and so many familiar landmarks....I love this little city!
Three good things
1. Hee hee I forgot it was my birthday until after my shower when there was a birthday card on my bedside cabinet!!!
2. Saturday birthdays are the best....please can I have one every year 😄😄😄
3. Delicious food with my very special husband!!

Thank you all for your lovely comments. It was such a glorious day at the Castle Viewpoint. And my hands were very cosy, Kathy, as I'm wearing my fingerless, recycled cashmere, gloves! Turtle Doves they are called......SO warm on chilly days.
