I love tulips and couldn't resist when I saw them today. Opening a bit more in the warmth of the kitchen-family room and I just smile.
Three good things
1. Long sleep and feeling better....cold clearing but eyelids rather irritated.... got some ointment at the pharmacy. 😁
2. Lots of reading for work but was nice with the sunshine outside.
3. A bit of a cleanathon in the kitchen. Lovely shiny hob area. ....Allan cooked trout for our meal in the oven 😊
Nice to see the leaves included in this arrangement! I never have enough tulips to cut and bring them inside! Trout? You can't buy it here - only eat what you have caught!
Ha ha he kept away from your nice clean hob then! I wasn’t ever too keen on tulips but have really come to like them much better recently...they seem to stay upright for so much longer now.
@maggiemae Thank you....we have fish van comes to the village on Saturday morning and he has quite a variety from the fish merchant just 25 miles away at the coast, so we're very lucky!
@happypat hee hee yes Pat! I don't know how long it will last..
No fried bacon and egg tomorrow! Lots of alternatives!
My mum always puts a couple of pennies in her tulips as that's supposed to keep them upright. I don't actually mind ...they have their own charm at each stage.
Oh, these tulips are beautiful! Thank you for all your lovely comments on my Shetland upload. I hate to upload lots of photos at once, but I needed to get them up there, so I can move onto looking at other posts and commenting! It's hard work keeping up sometimes. :-)

Thank you for your lovely comments.
Nice to share . P.S. the vase was bought at a local craft fair made by a lovely local lady. 💛
