After the grey of yesterday today has been amazing.
The sun came out about 9.30 and even Mum has been feeling hot enough to take off her cardigan!!
This was part of the view from the car looking north from Portmahomack, a lovely little village where we spent lots of sunny days. We even went after school sometimes and I have a hilarious photo of Dad and Mum playing tennis on the sand....he was still wearing his suit ....tie and all!!!
Today there were quite a few families, swimming, kayaking, sailing, playing.....and lots more watching. Perfect day for ice cream too.
Three good things
1. Memories....Dad was with us last time we came.
2. New potatoes from 'my' garden for dinner.i think they could have waited another few weeks but ....
3. My little flower bed at the back of the house is flourishing....must ruthlessly prune the nasturtiums as the are taking over!!

It's been quite relaxing and no rushing about. Mum is doing well and enjoys the company whatever is on the go.
Snail party in my lovely flower bed this morning....now they have a beer bath. Off to weed in the vegetable area! 😊
