Just a diary photo. Not ideal when train moving at a pace! But it's almost home territory.
Gentle colours and sun going down.....and forecast for tomorrow is heavy rain all day. Not great for farmers who have not been able to get their barley etc cut yet.
Three good things
1. The VERY NOISY lady passengers got off a couple of stops back. Even with my headphones in I could hear too much of their conversation!
2. Allan reached Orkney a few hours ago....early start and a long day.
3. Nearly home....even though I haven't lived there for over 40 years it's still home!
Yes it’s always home while you have your mum there...mum is home! Lovely feeling of evening time & night drawing in! I know what you mean about loud talking....I had some like that when I was sitting in the hotel lounge trying to read my book, had to take my hearing aides out!

Thank you for your lovely comments. I really couldn't tell the settings as I took several with my mobile phone and this was simply the best. Getting the angle is the trick to avoid reflections on the window.
Even though the train was moving you were still able to get a good shot- it's very pastoral! Right now the neighbor (who usually doesn't do this!) is stacking his firewood with the radio blaring away. I can't wait until he turns it off!
