Dornoch Cathedral by sarah19

Dornoch Cathedral

A glorious day.....two hours in the garden and a few items at the shops. Then Mum and I had a lovely drive along the shores of the Dornoch Firth end up in Dornoch for delightful icecream. We timed it perfectly - someone was driving away as we arrived so no search for parking space.
I love the warmth of the sandstone walls in this beautiful little cathedral.
Then back to Tain and a good while in the garden - phase 2.
I would need a month to get it all ship shape but I can live with what's possible.
Three good things
1. Mum enjoyed her outing and shop at Tesco after.
2. Chicken and leek dish ready for lunch tomorrow....leeks from garden 😊
3. Neighbour popped in for a chat. She is a gem and Mum just loves her! Feeling is mutual I know!!!
A lovely cathedral. I love the ceiling. Sounds like you had a wonderful day.
