We were in Glasgow today for Susannah's Open University graduation at the Glasgow Royal Concert Hall. It was a great day and we are very proud of her for studying so persistently while working full time. One of her best friends was able to join us and we had a lot of laughter over lunch afterwards.
Three good things
1. Celebrating achievement
2. Delightful lunch at 'The Red Onion' with special menu congratulating her!
3. A little while with Grannie Bremner before we headed home. Good to get here safely as it POURED RAIN ALL THE WAY.
Oh wonderful! I did a degree through the Open University about 10 years ago. It is hard work. Well done Susannah - definitely something to be celebrated! She must be really chuffed! Lovely image of happiness.
Congratulations! My father did a degree through the OU. Very hard work whilst working but brilliant to succeed. Loving the big and well deserved smiles
@sarah19 it is indeed very different and it taught me to be disciplined. When I was studying I had two teenagers at home, a large three generation household, a dog, four cats and a job !
