One point of view

An interesting day at Dedicated2weddings exhibition at TECA- the new exhibition space in Aberdeen. It's a huge venue and BBC Sports Personality of the Year is being held here later in the year.
It was an interesting day...so much to see, and so much to wonder about, and some fun!

Weddings have become true theatrical productions. I told a friend who was spending an inordinate amount of money on her daughter’s wedding that her daughter and fiancé should sign a 5 year contract. They must stay married for 5 years or pay their parents back. This venue must be quite an event space.

Maybe wedding dresses are sleeveless because so many weddings take place overseas in warmer countries.

@louannwarren Hey what a good idea! I know the Americans love a huge wedding but its becoming the same everywhere - thousands and thousands of dollars! I even heard of one young bride in her beautiful gown running into the sea after - called 'trashing the bridal dresses"!!
I bet these beautiful ladies enjoyed looking like brides for a day!

Thank you for your lovely comments. The interesting thing about the day was that no prices were visible at all. So you could view the whole variety of paraphernalia and enjoy.....and then ask for details if you wished!
