We have a photo of Allan's grandparents at this spot back in their day. It's with a friend being restored at the moment but we always stop for a while when travelling this way.
Three good things
1. Delicious lunch stop at The Watermill in Aberfeldy. You can eat delicious food, explore the outstanding bookshop and next door is a wonderful 'home' shop full of beautiful/useful little things for house and garden. All very environmentally friendly!
2. A day in Oban....another gem of a stop on the west coast. It was a bit drizzly, but we enjoyed exploring anyway, distillery, museum, chocolate shop, watching the ferries come and go and eating delicious seafood.
3. New red boots.....quite subtle red and very comfortable
