So after a lovely few days we head for Glasgow to visit Grannie B and then back to the north east and home. The colours were quite dramatic and the weather changeable, showers and sun, rainbows and clouds.
Mostly it's a fair road for driving but there are some stretches on Loch Lomond side where it was slow going with a tourist coach in front and some heavy lorries heading in the other direction.
Three good things
1. Grannie in good form and delighted with her little gifts.
2. Glasgow rolls....bakery items are so different in different parts of the country.
3. Safely home after a lunch break in Perth. Lovely city!
Loved finding out about these Glasgow Rolls - crispy topping etc. Wish we had a bakery that you could buy hot fresh rolls in the morning! This scene could easily be a NZ scene!
