One of my lovely colleagues finished with us today and gave me this gift.
Some people are very special colleagues and she certainly was. She was delighted with the necklace that had been chosen as a leaving gift and coped very well saying thank you in the staff room at break.
We plan to meet up from time to time as we've shared so much around literacy challenges for learners. She's off to develop her business venture which supports families with dyslexia etc and I'm sure she will not have a spare minute!!
Three good things
1. Sweet potato and red pepper soup for lunch.
2. Cleared the laundry pile - good start to next week.
3. Weather forecast not too bad for the weekend....hope snow keeps clear.
I love your narrative. We all have people in our lives who are a cut above the rest, I always try to stay in touch with them. These are beautiful roses.
