My flowers for the wedding just worked nicely with some ribbon I found in my sewing box. And perfectly held in place by a safety pin also in the box!!! Needs to be tidied out....and fixed if I can manage it.
Three good things
1. One of our shops opened from 11 till 2pm today for hardware, gardening tools and such like. They were busy....5 people in front of us in the queue. Great to get some new gardening gloves and hubby got new secateurs and branch loppers....which have already been in use.
2. A lot of work done at the bottom of the garden.....I was on celendine clear up 🙄 and Allan was attacking some rambling bramble runners.
3. Relaxing in sunshine on sofa with TV on....
The lovely back ground to your wedding flowers just add that touch of bridal luxury... I think your sewing box has the perfect mix of very necessary things! Hardware open....perfect!
@sarah19 Your jacket is beautiful, I thought it was too pretty to be a tablecloth, I’m glad to know it’s something you can wear. I’ve thought about all the Easter clothes in the stores that no one could shop for because of the virus. I fear for our retail stores, I know some will not survive. Certainly they have had mail order but I’m sure it is not enough for the larger chains.
