Full on gardening today!! I was working hard from mid morning till dinner time with a little break for a cool beer. Lovely day for it! Gentle breeze and mostly sunshine. The geraniums seem happy and the green leaves are doing fine. In the background I can see the area I was working on most of the day.....there's a little path up some stepping stones to the centre of the circle now, it was so overgrown with 'past their best' plants which I cut back, and full of buttercup, vetch and some mare's tail......now away to the recycling centre garden section!! And Allan cut the grass so it was a good day!
Three good things
1. Washing all dry in the breeze.
2. Dinner at the patio table enjoying the view.
3. Warm enough to wear a summer dress after my shower!!
You have a large garden to tend Sallie, it’s a good job you love it. I can see where you’ve been! Well done...Harry trimmed our beech hedge this afternoon.
