Me with three sisters, in the Strathcarron Step Challenge this July to help Strathcarron nurses and frontline staff continue to care for local people living with, and dying from, a terminal illness during the COVID-19 crisis.

Sister Marjory is Director of Nursing at Strathcarron Hospice where she has worked since 2002. So she suggested to her siblings that we might be able to do something together even though we don't see each other very often! Younger sisters Kate and Sheila are there too.....@No3 is the house we grew up in!
We're signed up for 5k each day, which isn't a huge distance ... my stepcounter is often over 10,000 just doing usual things. But I'm trying to push myself a bit so some days will jog/walk the distance in the morning. Perhaps by the end of the month I will manage 5k jogging all the way though the elevation on the routes here are quite significant!!!

Three good things
1. Got up and out there ......there were several points where I could have taken a shorter option but I kept going!!!
2. Fascinating using the Strava app which shows so much information at the end of the run!
3. 2 hours in school.....sorting out my classroom. It seemed VERY quiet but I managed to pack up lots of my belongings to rationalise before we go back in August. And good to chat to some staff who were around. I have missed them so much!

It’s so worrying for all these charity’s that can only survive through charitable donations....power to all your eight legs!

Thank you for your lovely comments. Yes the genes are strong and quite often there's a pause when we meet people up at home who are not sure which one they are talking to!
I love it when I am mistaken for Sheila who is ten years younger than I am!!😂😂😂😂
