And noticed the lovely roses in a garden on my way home from my 5k jog/walk. The couple who moved in to the house there have done some lovely work on the garden. We thought there radical cutting of the privet hedge was a bit severe but was so 'the right thing to do' and now there's a lovely thick growth at just the right height to see some of the flowers.
