The town square

Looking so pretty with the floral efforts of the reduced team.....what a difference it makes day by day. Standing in a queue at mini-supermarket today with two ladies, one quite elderly who hadn't been to shops since the start of Lockdown was feeling quite nervous but we had time to reassure, and chat, and admire the flowers. That has to be a better experience than rushing around like we so often did!
Three good things
1. Gardening time in sunshine
2. Allan is on holiday for a week.
3. Dinner at the Redgarth which is open again, delicious food and some familiar faces, though quite spaced out for the time being!
You have been out for a meal....oh I am so fed up of not cooking but the deciding! I think us women, mostly us women, have caught the short straw in this lockdown with all the extra chores! I know Allan is a keen & wonderful cook but a Harry isn’t!!

@happypat I know I'm very lucky having a husband who likes to cook. I seem to have done more cooking these last few weeks and he has enjoyed it a lot as he's been so busy working from the study at home. I don't think it's a healthy way of living, mentally or physically as you miss the real interactions with colleagues and the drive to work and back gives him time to switch on/off and be himself at the end of the day.
But lovely to have a week of work-free days just now.
