We slept late today, good to have some days like that. Breakfast highlight was the tomato crop!! One each but very sweet and delicious. Some months ago there were tomato plants in a box outside a local shop which was closed, but they had a 'Help Yourself' note, so I took two.
It's a long time since I last tried growing tomatoes and these were very slow developers! But perhaps we will try again next year, starting earlier and learning more.
Three good things
1. Gentle day and no rushing.
2. Some autumn photos in the garden.
3. Lovely walk in fresh air and chats with family and friends afterwards.

Yes there are sliced apples there, and made French toast wit a sliced cheesy loaf, it was delicious.
