We've had very strong winds today creating horrendous drifting of snow that fell yesterday/overnight and grim travelling conditions all round.
as a result. Somehow the Amazon delivery man managed to get here at 6.30pm!! I just hope he got home safely afterwards. The local news said every road out of our town was impassable or not advised and I believed it!
No Royal Mail delivery for 2 days and the previous day the post man told Allan he had been stuck in snow twice that morning!!
Three good things
1. Cosy house
2. Scone making WhatsApp session with daughters round the world. Much laughter and chat too.
3. Washing machine sharing.. my neighbour phoned to say hers wasn't working so happy to help!! Good that people feel free to ask when they need something!
It's a nightmare for delivery men and postmen at the moment. Now it's raining ... we'll be getting flooded with all that snow melt! Let's hope it's a gentle melt. Lovely capture.
