Loving the opening day by day

These roses have been on the sideboard in the hall for almost two weeks and still lovely....
Such a busy time and little things make such a difference.
I was in school this afternoon and had several online meetings. P1-3 children go back to school on Monday. So exciting.
But for so many adults the separation is intensely felt and the novelty of zoom chats has worn a bit thin I think.
Anyway.....
Three good things
1. Sorting things out for a new phase.
2. Beef casserole with cheese dumplings for dinner.
3. Lots of little housework things done between some good TV...mostly on BBC Scotland channel and ALBA... glad for the subtitles as, unlike Allan, I dont speak Gaelic!
They are so lovely! Amazing they are two weeks old!

I have been watching my amaryllis come to life. You are right, there is nothing more lovely than watching flower buds open.
