I changed the vase to a tall jug and these tulips which are almost 2 weeks old seem very happy in there.
I must admit some of the petals had landed on the coffee table when I got home today as the sunshine has been quite strong between rain and hail showers!!
Three good things
1. Good day at school and non class contact time can be done at home ....so I got home early.
2. Coffee and cake at a favourite coffee shop.
3. I did enjoy watching this evening's programme about the Royal Wedding ten years ago. I can't remember where I watched the actual wedding but have had some interesting exchanges with daughter No 1 who was recovering from a knee operation at the time. I may have been down in Edinburgh with her at the time!! She recalls me reading 120 facts about Royal Weddings from Good Housekeeping while she was in hospital!!!!!!
