Opening in sunlight on a bitter day, I didn't feel I had done them justice yesterday!!
It has been so bitter the last few days, weeks!!!!
The gardens are surviving at some level, though the pink on the Camellia is sadly edged in brown after the blast from the freezing North and East winds.
But hopefully it will not continue too much longer. I'd like to have packed away my thermal vests and winter woollies before we get to June!!!
Three good things
1. Up for an early jog to the papershop, via the 'voting venue' this morning.
2. Loving my time working with some older children in school.
3. Counting down the weeks to the end of term. This is my last lap as a teacher in school. Wonder what might be in store afterwards!
You are sure having a long spell of cold weather, it does seem late fir those temperatures. Your last lap as a teacher in school? So you are retiring from teaching? Oh my. That’s exciting news!
I hadn't registered your 'last lap as a teacher in school'. I can certainly recommend retirement, and there is a whole world to explore when you are not hindered by work commitments!
