Two of the pink peonies in the garden have been added to the bouquet from the family- wind at the end of the week knocked them over so I put them to good use.
It's been a strange day. This is 'recovery week' payback for going back to school early last August. And part of the strangeness is that this is the first summer when I haven't had to work out when to be with Mum and when to be at home. I guess it's the first summer I've ever been able to just think about Allan and me!!
Not going to waste the days....lots to do and time...
Three good things
1. Good to get the front hall cleaned and tidy again.
2. Sunshine in the garden and time to sit.
3. Andy Murray won his match at Wimbledon this evening.
My work hours are down by 80% and I'm adjusting to living alone so I understand how daunting a massive influx of free time and lack of responsibility can be. I'm sure your positive attitude will mean you adjust to your changes well, just allow yourself a little time where you feel a bit out of sync......and then enjoy!
