Had a msg from Laura to say that her lovely friend was home with her family.
Miri and Pete live in Toulouse with their little girl and have been self isolating at the house.
And could I make the favourite cake? Of course!!
They had +ve test results just as I arrived so we could enjoy tea and cake outdoors.
Aoife LOVED the cake and we all had a lovely catch up.
Three good things
1. Their garden space is 'like Center Parks' full of different activities and Aoife hasn't even noticed that she hasn't been outside the gate!!!
2. Swapped some of my plant pots...an experiment to see if some slower growers get a boost and some drier ones benefit from shade!!
3. Delicious barbecued beef with spicy crust - a recipe Allan heard on Radio 4. It was so good and left overs for tomorrow.
