Stopped in Elgin for some lunch. Loved that they served it on Highland Stoneware dishes - made in Lochinver, on the west of Scotland, where my Granny was brought up.
Three good things
1. Lunch by a sunny windowsill.
2. Big tidying time at the start of the day.
3. Retirement...day 1.

Such beautiful crockery….the markings in that pottery is wonderful. Good you did something special to mark your first day of retirement. I think Garth is looking a bit lost today for the first time…..the holiday delayed the sense of retirement.
