In small communities, the school is a very special place. Here they have a fantastic range of outdoor activities, fun in the playground, polytunnel, growing spaces, mud kitchen, wild garden and so much more!
And when it's appropriate there is the freedom to explore the wonderful landscape and seashore close by. So different from the small town where we live and where there are reservations about how things may be 'interfered with' in the school garden!!
It was lovely to have a wee visit to see her special space......one of them. She also has another school over the hill!!
Three good things
1. A fantastic drive cross country and I didn't fall asleep at all.
2. Lovely lunch and a little bit of shopping.
3. A little chip hit the windscreen and a slight crack developed......but nothing serious and we reached destination safely!
