So Autumn is definitely here...chilly start, blustery showers and looking out from the spare room I didn't think I would get much done. But it cleared ...and I was very busy and cosy enough when on the move! Had a break after lunch and then got some pots cleared and planted so very satisfying day.
Three good things
1. New bulbs in new compost on the patio should be colourful in a few months.
2. Replanted Crocosmia that I had lifted last weekend so maybe it will survive.
3. Chats on the phone / WhatsApp...
So many ways to communicate and keep up to date.
You put me to shame…..Cathy told me today she has bought us some bulbs so will have to get busy & plant them when she comes over. I do like bulbs….it’s just the planting. Not sure how to go about it….I had a bulb planter once it was useless, made my hand really sore!
@happypat It's definitely better with two than one!! But Allan has been working today so I just got on with it!!! I was planting them in pots - layered, crocus, narcissus and tulips and then some pansies /violas on top so there is colour for the next few weeks and maybe more!
But I was very chilly after lunch and went to bed for a warm-up nap!!! It worked!!!
