Ready for Lunch

A gentle start to the day opening some presents and a crazy WhatsApp family chat with our 'children' around the world - Scotland, Netherlands, Australia, and China.
Then some cooking for lunch. We had friends coming which was quite special and different. They appreciated our invitation and we all had a lovely day. And they stayed over so no one had to think about driving home!
Three good things
1. Kindness of family and friends.
2. The crackers I made were great! and we spread the eating over several hours with pauses for The Queen's Speech etc, so no one felt too full!
3. So many stories to tell.
