What a difference a day makes.....we have a new roller blind in the utility room and I love it!! I'm not sure what the thinking was when this house was planned but the utility room is NOT beside the kitchen (as in most houses) but at the other end of the house via the garage!! It's good as it means we never hear the sound of the washing machine/tumble drier and also good for the step count!!!
But it isn't a 'cared for' space. With gardening stuff and bird feeder stuff and other items, the utility room has often been more like a dumping area! But not anymore!!
Last night I had the Polyfilla out, fixed a few areas and cleared the worktop under the window. Today the very efficient guy came and fitted the blind that I ordered a few weeks ago.......what a transformation!
Now the challenge is to transform the garage............hmmmm that may be a bigger project!!!
Three good things
1. Also fitted a blind in our little downstairs toilet - keeps the dark out at night!!
2. Dentist visit and all well.
3. Time.....this is the first day that I have had time to do things I chose to do rather than needed to do.......does that make sense?
Love your number 3 GT….you must feel very satisfied with your utility room. Whenever I have done something like that I have to keep going in & admiring!
