I had never seen this photo in all the years I had known Grannie and Grandad. It's beautiful and so glad we found this, and several others, before heading home.
They had a very small wedding on 31st December, as that was a holiday in Scotland at that time.
So many interesting episodes in their years together and a very loving couple.
Three good things
1. A bit of tidying in the garage and some items to add to things from 'No 15' that were going to the 'recycling centre'.
2. A lovely visit to see new baby Abel, every new baby is such a joy.
3. A big tidy /sort of my jewellery boxes.
I have so many lovely items and love to wear them. But I have favourites...and I wear them almost every day!!
Such a lovely photo. So wonderful to have their history together. I’m trying so hard to wear different jewelry, I have favorites too, feeling guilty about not wearing different pieces.
What a lovely, special photo. My mum and dad married on Xmas Eve. I've often wondered why, but perhaps because they had a couple of days off to follow?
