Up north for a few days. It's been a long time for a variety of reasons and a bit strange coming to the empty house.
But minutes after arriving there were people to chat to, always happy to see us. It's lovely and still home.
Just had to go for a walk in sunshine, stopped to say hello to a familiar face from the past, enjoyed the sounds and sensory experiences and stopped for a photo at an old cottage where lovely ladies lived when I was little.
Three good things
1. No rush in the morning.
2. Exchanged my car for a new model!
3. Glorious day for driving, great views and lovely sunshine.
