Ready for bed

Seanair reading a Gaelic story to Neil......I'm sure there will be more!
We took the train to Aberdeen this morning and showed Marina some of the significant places in the city centre. She was very interested in the William Wallace statue close to the theatre, which has recently been refurbished. We also went to the Art Gallery, had lunch, and Neil and his daddy arrived.
Marina went back to Edinburgh by train and we took Neil home. His Dad had a work event and his Mum was in Glasgow so ...😂😂
Three good things
1. Fish fingers and baked beans for tea!
2. Energy.....we were so fascinated at the constant playing and climbing on and off the sofa, and checking out all the kitchen doors, drawers, etc.
3. New handles fitted on my refurbished bedside cabinets. Love the upgrade!!
This is so sweet

Super photo and I love that there's a Spot book in Gaelic!

Thank you for your lovely comments. The Gaelic 'Spot' books were David's! Published in 1980... just when Gaelic education was really taking off in Scotland. With Gaelic heritage on both sides of the family they were a 'must have' 😂😂

Such a cute photo. Neil obviously understands the language. I notice that Spot has kept his name!
