January sunshine

I wasn't sure what weather was going to 'happen' today but so glad it was dry. I was attending the service of Thanksgiving for the life of a lovely friend, Mary, who passed away last week. She was a year younger than me but had lived with liver connected challenges for many years. But a real gem and the church was full to capacity and overflow at the church centre, where we all had refreshments afterwards.
It was a truly lovely service, great hymns, great tributes to a wonderful lady, with great faith, and seeing all these lovely colours as I left for home just seemed to be the world saying Amen!!
Three good things
1. Gave a lift to a great friend.
2. Spoke to so many former colleagues ☺️
3. Pizza for tea and early to bed.
Sorry for your loss Sarah 💐

So sorry for your loss Sarah, but it seems that the service and the sunshine were indeed a way of saying farewell to your friend in an uplifting way.
