It's ten years since we last met Marieke and her parents. She came to stay with us for three months when studying English for Business. Her parents came too for a weekend and we felt like we had always been friends. And so it has remained.
Susannah met up with her soon after her move to The Netherlands and at a difficult time Marieke was just a perfect friend.
Three good things
1. A good journey by train to have lunch with Marieke and Jan Willem.
2. This photo was at a café bar after a lovely guided walk through Harderwijk.
3. Dinner together and perfect timing for our train back to The Hague.
