Spindrift at Forvie

Made the most of the sunshine on Saturday and walked along the Ythan Estuary, over the dunes and down to the beach.
It really felt like we had the whole beach to ourselves. Not anyone else to be seen until we met a 'crowd' of seven or eight (some of whom we knew!!) on our way back to the car.
Quite a breeze but we were well wrapped up - and you will probably see a few more photos from our walk in the days ahead.
Apart from the frame it's sooc!
I can't get this picture to display, but the small version looks amazing!

I really like this photo, the late afternoon winter sun on the sea and wet sand is lovely. Fav.

Beautiful in its simplicity - and I love the subtle colours.

Wonderful timeless picture. The sort of beach my father liked. On our summer hols if there was another family in view it was crowded. Thank you so much for noticing and commenting on my helibore shot.

I don't have to go to the beach in sunny warm weather- I like it anytime of the year. This looks like a wonderful place to be- boy do I want to go to the ocean!
