Tanglewood Surprises

We went for a walk at Fyvie Castle Estate today. There's a lovely loch to walk round and the light after frost was fabulous.
More later, but I couldn't resist sharing this photo. There isn't really a focus but the colours were so fabulous......it's SOOC apart from the frame. Now I want some fabric in these colours to create something beautiful to wear!!!!

Sort of soft heathery colours & just you Sallie !! Have to ask Louise at her textile course !! I should have walked today as the weather has been great but by the time I had changed all beds etc I couldn't be bothered !

The colours are awesome - I know what you mean about the fabric. Maybe you could recreate it in paint?

@happypat This picture does inspire me but more so as the basis for an embroidery picture, I am going to fav it and keep my eye open for other inspiring shots that I can draw upon on my course!

You're right Sarah- the colors are lovely! I can see my daughter-in-law knitting a sweater in these colors.
