A smile is a facial expression formed by flexing the muscles near both ends of the mouth.
It's a bit early in the day for selfies! But this morning it is so good to smile! The blip on the Edinburgh trip on Saturday was eating a bit of Laura's biscotti biscuit and .....even though I dunked it in my coffee.....it disagreed seriously with my front crown!
Major trauma......I am a smiler.....resulting headache was not good (stress) but great dentist, aspirin, lots of sleep and I am fit for work today.
Actually it's amazing how negatives can highlight positives. Laura's immediate action on phone, Susannah's sympathy, and Allan's TLC all spring to mind just as much as the crack! And the others I had to communicate with were reassuring!
The moral of the story is 'avoid biscotti unless well dunked, and enjoy your smiles. They are infectious!'
Lovely smile and a great portrait. I must tell you that my granddaughter aged 3 got a camera for Christmas. She was here at the weekend with her camera,and there's a feature on it which allows her to flip the viewfinder round to take a self portrait. She likes doing that! What a great idea.
How beautiful you are and what a wonderful smile! Wow! You really went through alot for that bite of biscotti! But you have great friends, like you said, and were well taken care of. Lesson learned. I know what you mean about the biscotti . . I usually avoid them even tho I like them. P.S. I love your smile . . even better than my fish "smile!"
I'll remember that - dunk WELL! I love a biscotti - for some reason I don't view it as a biscuit and therefore it doesn't have calories! The pain from a damaged crown is unforgettable however so I'm glad your lovely smile is back.
