Allan has been making this fantastic soup for the last few weeks....chick peas, tinned tomatoes, chorizo sausage (fried first to release the fat!), stock, and chilli flakes!
It is so easy to have at lunch time and if I put the oatcakes in I could almost use a knife and fork!
Sounds very tasty !!! Harry will only ever have Knorr packet Minnestrone !!!! I am almost embarrassed to tell you but he is no inspiration to make any home made soup !
Although I do most of the cooking, when it comes to soup, David is more likely to make a pot of homemade than me, curried parsnip or tomato and orange are his specialities! I'll have to make sure he sees this recipe of Allan's!
