Himalayan Primrose, or the Drumstick Primrose, Primula denticulata
I was never sure what their name was but Dad had lots in his garden when I was small - still has!!!
Mine are a pinker version and I had forgotten I had any until yesterday when I was busy in the garden all afternoon. I think if I move them they may flourish and multiply!
What do you think Louise? http://365project.org/louisefrance/365/2012-03-06
@busylady I can't imagine what life without Picnik will be like! Making the most of it while it is there! Do you think something similar will come along!
@busylady I only put photos in the so much more album when I can't decide which photo for one day! And mostly at weekends! This project has changed my life but it doesn't take over. I love colour and texture but don't have time for the sewing projects I used to do so this is my 'shortcut' for a few years!
I love these drumstick ones and these are a great colour! @busylady I've been checking out Picmonkey - looks very similar (no collages yet) but my own photos are too big to upload - I haven't found out how small I have to go yet. But it definitely has frames!
Pretty flowers! Picmonkey was started by folks who used to work at Picnik. They have a lot of similar features- but no mirror frame or collages- YET. But they're fairly new and seem to be indicating that they will be adding more features on. I've also been using iPiccy which is also easy to use and Befunky which has some artistic effects that are a lot of fun to play around with. Someone also suggested Lunapic, but I haven't tried that yet. @jmj@judithg@busylady Thought you all might be interested in that info. I will miss Picnik too, but I didn't want to be going cold turkey when it closes up shop so I started testing these other sites out.
