Dad has been getting on very nicely with his garden with all the sunshine - wondering if it really is too early to have planted some 'tatties' but time will tell!!
The Forsythia in the Cromartie Gardens border is lovely and the buds are coming on the copper beech.
I do love this place!
What a beautiful shot - great composition and framing. Traditionally the first early potatoes are planted on Good Friday, but as this date moves every year, I can never understand the logic of this plan.
Oh good on you dad keeping the wolf from the door !! Harry has planted his early crop of potatoes so hopefully not too early ! love that photo of your dad in his garden, the shadow & light under that tree is special !
Beechgrove said it was still too early (according to my Mother-in-law) to plant tatties but this weather has made it tempting to get them in! Great to see your Dad still active in the garden.
