The fridge is full, the weather chart has lots of sunshine, the garden is looking great (especially without the looming leylandia) and I have treated myself to a new orchid!
School closed for 7 weeks yesterday.
Tomorrow David and Jenn fly into Edinburgh from Kiev and all being well they will reach us on Monday. I am so looking forward to giving David a hug as he left for Kuala Lumpur on 20th March 2010 and we've not seen him since then!
And it will be lovely to meet Jenn who is a very special part of his life now!
Will probably have collages next week as the camera will be working overtime!

Wow - you close so much earlier in Scotland. We don't close here until July 20th. Your garden looks amazing - almost like a park! We have sun here too today although rain was forecast. A new orchid is is always cause for celebrations. Enjoy the holidays - I can remember that feeling!
@busylady Yes we close early but we are back in school mid August so it all balances out in the end! And only every 5th year that we have 7 week break! The other years we have 6..................so this year is good! Watch it fly faster than ever though!
Well, now I don't feel so bad. I come home with bags and bags of groceries and think "how is it that there are only two people in this house and we have so many grocery bags?" Your frig looks as full as ours! I guess it's because I buy more fresh things than ever and they take up a lot of room. You have such a beautiful yard too!!
A definite fave Sallie just for the feeling it gives me knowing how you are feeling inside about David & Jenn coming home...even I am excited to see pictures of them!! I know what it's like to wait for the arrival after all this time! Have a wonderful week end ! x
