Dad was collecting more raspberries and strawberries today from the garden, and Mum was busy making pancakes to accompany the jam she made yesterday! Such industry for 85 year olds is pretty impressive and they are very 'more-ish' I must say!
Can't beat pancakes and homemade jam! (My father in law taught himself to make pancakes once when my mother in law was away on granny duty - he then ate them all himself!)

Yes, we used to call them drop scones - or Scotch pancakes. They were flavoured with lemon essence and I loved them. Think I'll have to make some tomorrow! Hope I'm still making jam at 85!
