I have just found out that I have Oxalis triangularis on my kitchen window sill!
It was a gift from a friend and I love the shape of the leaves, their rich colour and delicate little flowers which have come and gone all summer!
And the fact that our neighbour did a great job of cutting the hedge, the window cleaner came this morning ( windows were SO messy after the stormy weather earlier in the week!) and the sun is shining really makes it all something to smile about!
And seeing my favourite tea pot..............
I'm off to put the kettle on!!!
This looks pretty & always like the deep leaves of this plant. I love clean windows but I hate cleaning the inside ones after the window cleaner has done the outside.
@happypat I've just (rarely!) cleaned the inside of mine and now I've discovered that the window cleaner is rubbish - but he's old and does everybody's so I can't sack him. I need a nice plant like this so I won't notice!
@judithg I only notice mine when the sun shines in the kitchen window in the late afternoon showing up all the splashes etc from the sink & you def can't sack him!
I have a pot of that in my dining room that has been hardy for quite some time.
