From the High Street in Tain there is a lovely view across the Rose Garden - revamped just a few years ago - to the hills across the Dornoch Firth and up north.
It's so much part of my growing up days and looked lovely on Saturday when I had been getting a few items of shopping for Dad.
It was good to be with him today as it was his 86th birthday and opening his cards and parcels on his own wouldn't have been much fun!! The pleasure of someone to see him opening them was quite special, and nice to share his reactions with my siblings!!
Glad to say Mum is making good progress and physio permitting she should be home soon!
So pretty! I've been missing many of your pictures- just time limitations and timing I think, so I missed the news on your Mum. I'm glad to hear she is improving. This is so lovely!
