I caught the train from Manchester over to Leeds tonight after work - all the way over there was a great view of a beautiful hazy sun from the train window. When I got to Leeds station, the sun was just hitting the horizon in the distance, behind St Bartholemew's church (3 miles from the station, and near where I used to live). Not a great quality picture, I know, because it's on 15x digital zoom, and it's taken through a grubby station window .. but apart from a crop, this is SOOC, and I just love the colour of that bubble-gum sun!
I love this site! I posted what I thought was a fairly crud picture - but better to post up any photo than skip a day, I reckon. I wasn't very happy with it - and it's lovely to grow to like it more through the day, helped by your lovely comments. Thank you for helping me to like my own photo more! :o)

this was the sun i wanted to get, but i wqas too low down, walking the dog through woods. The sun was just hanging there and it was awesome.. love it.
