This little statuette lives on the window ledge by my bed. She's called 'Courage' and I always think the way she's holding her arms in the air looks like she's saying a loud 'Yes!!' I thought she might look more photogenic out in the park, amongst the buttercups, and under a clear blue sky :o)
So, today, I'm grateful for the days when I have the courage to say 'Yes!' to life, and the different choices and opportunities that come along. Earlier this week, a friend suggested a spontaneous mini-break in Spain - I said 'Yes!' and I'm flying off tomorrow until Tuesday so, once again, I won't be uploading any photos for a few days! :o)
what a lovely backstory to the photo....and courage always deserves and outing. nice shot (I am behind cos I have a horrible bug and have not been out at all...will update soon)

Thank you all for your lovely comments, that I'm just catching up with now I'm back from my jaunt to Spain! I had a fab time, very relaxing, and will be uploading some pics once I've caught up with myself now I'm back home - although I didn't spent too much time taking photos, I was far too busy swimming in the pool, eating tapas, and generally enjoying doing very little :o)
