The Pennine Way by sarahhorsfall

The Pennine Way

I've been away this weekend, with 15 other women, to a Youth Hostel in Dufton, on the Pennine Way, in Cumbria. I didn't take many photos, so the next 3 photos are all taken on the same day.

The Pennine Way is a 267 mile long walk along the Pennine Hills - the 'backbone of England' http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pennine_Way

Some of the group went on a couple of 4 hour long walks along bits of the route on Saturday and Sunday. I went for the softer option and walked about 2 miles of it! LOL
i've done a few shots of footpath signs Sarah, they are always full of texture and tones, this one is too :)

nothing wrong with the softer option ...2 miles is respectable

@phil_howcroft Yes, the colours are quite muted, but the textures are nice :o) .. we walked for about an hour, so it might even have been more than 2 miles .. it was a nice walk, however long it was :o)

@sleepdozer57 Wow, respect to you for that .. that's a loong walk!
