While waiting for a business meeting today at Union Station in Washington, DC, I couldn't help but feel the nostalgia of train travel here in the U.S. Notice the netting to protect any brittle parts of the ceiling that could still fall from the earthquake damage we experienced 2-years ago this month.
Lastly, my deep appreciation to all of you for your kind comments and compliments on my recent photos. I am humbled to be in your company here.
great shot ...especially viewed large ...love this place ... the architecture is just fantastic .... and there is such a lot going on there always ... if I do have visitors and we are in DC ..Union station is definitely one destination!!
Beautiful architectural shot, love the reflections in the tiled floor. This does have a nostalgic feel. Some day I hope to see this in person. On my bucket list.
