It is somewhat overcast here in Maryland today with some rain moving in later. Went for a walk in the woods behind my house early this afternoon and was reminded of the simple beauty that is so close by.
What Thoreau said: "I came to the woods because I wished to live deliberately, to front only the essential facts of life, and see if I could not learn what it had to teach, and not, when I came to die, discover that I had not lived."
